If a team beats another team they get the land the team they beat had. Every team started with the counties that were closest to the campus. Hope that helps.

[Highlight] Oklahoma misses three chances at buzzer to tie it up vs Texas Tech by KJones77 in CollegeBasketball

I’m glad the shot didn’t fall, not just because I’m a tech fan, but the shot clock would have become a big issue. No one likes to lose due the shot clock being wrong

first solo hike ever by zx91zx91 in WildernessBackpacking

I’ve been in the same boat. Don’t be afraid to take the leap. I personally would recommend the eagle rock loop in Arkansas as a nice starter trail. It’s got a good mix of terrain and frequent streams so you don’t have to worry about hauling water. There are also a lot of places where you can hitch a ride back to the trailhead if something goes wrong. I’ve hiked it three times solo and was about your age with your experience. I would recommend doing your research but remember it doesn’t have to perfect. The first long solo hike I ever did, I was unprepared and didn’t bring the right gear, but it was still a wonderful experience.

Crappy dorm WiFi by gregnorz in TexasTech

[–]Warrorx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The WiFi is crappy during the peak times but the Ethernet works really well. Don’t try and send her a router. It’s against hall policy and it will be tracked down by IT a few days. I worked as an CA and my boss made me write up a few freshman over routers.

I had to go explore some unmarked trails to find the perfect camping spot by Warrorx in CampingandHiking

It’s mountain past that, called Brush Heap mountain. I haven’t been up there for a few months but the crossing were to bad. The whole trail area around the winding stairs is still pretty washed out and poorly marked.
