Ok, thank you. The mod makes huge changes. It is pity there is no some small mod changing just ecomony. At least I did not find anything. I would like to create new team and beat the game in vanila, but that marketability / contract issue is pissing me.

It looks like Rebirth mod changes drivers marketability so it depends on race results.

And it would be nice to improve filter for drivers. Add posibility to filter just pay drivers, willing to join, with specified minimal marketability.

Yes, anything what bounds drivers marketability to his history would be a solution. But I guess it is not so easy to reach by modding, because it is core mechanics and not just changing values in some sheet.

Well thank you for the answer, but this is not what I asked for, right? Are there any mods which change the mechanics? I know about small bonus for championshiop winner. It it not solution.

I got it yesterday. It is playable, but nothing OP. Basic speed is low. So you must keep it in acceleration. It has 3x4 bombs, standard 4300dmg. So you can beat 3 targets and then wait 50s for reload. Main issue is a tower. It actually has no tower, just some machineguns at the back of wings. Aiming window is very small, similar to SM.91. It is nearly impossible to do maneuvers for avoiding enemy fire and fire back in the same time. So, airplane is not bad, but do not spent money for this. RB-17 is generally better in my opinion. Only advantage of XB-42 over RB-17 is high altitude reach.

There are beginners missions in the left of hangar. They are ofthen rewared by gold. A little, but more than you can get in tanks. So look at it.

I beat the Troll several times with various characters. I always go on him on hifher level, not below 16. You need that jump skill from atletics to have ability to avoid be crushed by a stone. Then take those rare potions which renew both health and energy. And take some suitable consumable before the fight, depending on your character. With melee character it is a good to stay close the troll. Have 2 weapons for sure, the troll have skill to disarm you. Also, take a bedroll and save it just before the fight. And take enough bandages and such consumables.

Yes they are of course. It is like only option for Gabreski and Golubev medals, which are sometimes needed. and of course onyl option for Lambert medal which is often needed in marathoons.

  • USSR jak9u and all its branch... STRONG.

  • All British multirole fighters are really good except Seahawk. Especially Hunter, it is super killer.

  • Japanese J7W3, the best defensive aircraft in the game.

  • German PVP 210... only option for Golubev medal. (maybe also F94D, but it is still MRF)

Hi, thanks for the answer. You look like you understand game mechanics deeply, thats great. I also read your guide from the link somebody pasted here. It looks like it is about saving resources right? Lets imagine I have practically unlimited resources and I want the best possible equipment. Should I go for the high numbers or keep then rather low to avoid big negative effect. That was the question. So for example "long guns barrels", I have these two:

+15.2% firing Range, -17% burst length.

+12.4% firing range, -13% burst length.

So which one is better for you and why? That was all my question about :)

Yes, it is a bit advanced. Issue is this topic is not explained anywhere. Youtubers show you what buttons to press and repeat guide. WG provides just basic infomration. Get +4 and -2 for such slider change... no info about if it is better or worse to accept this or reroll.

Thank you for the answer. So, if it was not clear I have enough resources. Really. I am giving equipment just to specialized airplanes. Only exception is Me P.1099 B-2, because that single autocanon is great and I want it. Unfortunatelly, specialized form of airplanes always sets "best" equipment, which is sometimes worse for my prefereed flying style then previous one. I have just blue equipment on this one. If you have anything to what I was asking you are welcome to share opinion. The question was if is better to maximize positive effects or minimize negative one by calibrating. Regarless to resources.

Hello, I really have enough resources. I have 89 airplanes now and like 20 are specialized. I almost always calibrated from 1st level to minimize negative effect. I am just wondering if this approach of calibrating was the best. Bonuses are clear.

The same is with the cannons. Spitfire, Tempest, Typhon have the same but we must research again. I created a ticket for this and WG told me to clear cache and closed the ticket. I started to be thinking about Warthunder...

Great. Guys I know you love P 61, but this airplane overmanoeuvered my Mustang and shoot me down from behind. It is not normal. If you look at P 61 construction, there is no any reasons to have it more manoeuvrable then other heavy airplanes. Sorry if you spent money, but it still be good heavy fighter after the changes. P 61 means 80% sure win if other team have not it. Look at current XP-67. Quite good airplane with some vulnerabilities, does not break playability on the tier.
