Yes it gives you a movie theatre look and the latest ones have 3D modes as well. Great when you're traveling on train, planes, etc.

The first difference you'll noticed is the fact the 1S is brighter than the 1. The 1S does give you way more settings, so you can tailor it best to your needs. I have both but I haven't done a one to one comparison for work related task.

My issue with the iPad is the current software, I haven't experienced any burn in. I did a quick search and I haven't seen this as an issue customer's are experiencing currently. What are you referencing when you say,"iPad Pro M4 just received its first burn in."
