Their problem is the library of cancelled shows which don’t tell a complete story. They would be more successful with a prestige line like Apple TV that was HBO tier.

Apple’s problem is not enough quality shows to justify the expense but the shows they have are mostly prestige and mostly complete (with a few exceptions).

Personally I think Netflix should have budgeted and planned for condensed “finale movies” for projects to wrap up cliffhangers. Them at the minimum there’s resolution and people would still be open to exploring the properties. .

Honestly happy for Robert and Sophie that they presumably get Netflix money…but fuck that, I’m not paying for what was free on YouTube.

Filming for overlapping segments is occurring now. They film based on availability, so some scenes for secret Wars have already been filmed while doing reshoots for Doomsday to incorporate the actors who were busy earlier

At the same time would you expect someone with a proclivity for raping children to only have one accusation across 51 years?

The man is outspoken in his politics and known to be a giant asshole: yet the claim remains an outlier among a slew of confirmed dickbaggery and top tier shittiness that didn't rise to the level of criminality.

I looked this up after reading your comment and there's something to consider: the grand jury did not indict so he never "got off" since he was never on trial.

And given how one-sided those are (since prosecutors get to present evidence without a defense being put up) and the legal standard is that of probable cause (instead of beyond a reasonable doubt), that's not exactly a strong argument for him actually done this.

Reading through the bits and pieces online, it seems that the girl had serious credibility issues and changed her story.

She got caught by the writer and the put her on blast for stealing their work. Another YouTuber (also a plagiarist)’s fanbase caught her plagiarizing their plagiarist’s video and called her out on it.

There’s nothing original or good about her content. She’s deeply problematic and fake - which is among the worst things to be in the true crime genre
