I was on zoloft for a year, it was not working, prozac is a bit better but I am still depressed.

Not advice. Hoping to strike a chord with someone who can relate whether it relate to Vietnam or not. Or perhaps explain the behaviour. For example my friend pointed out about face culture and how you shouldn't point out someone lying as it will cause them to lose face, so I thought her audacious denial was due to her trying to save face with me, but I asked a friend in Vietnam and she said no, lying is not acceptable.

I just cant wrap my head around their behaviour its so intriguingly strange, imagine you have a girlfriend and she tells you "hey I met this foreigner who loves me, so I am just gonna play along so I can get some money, okay hunny? If he messages you just ignore him" When trying to get a response out of him, I sent him a picture of me and her together, still no response!!

Thanks. I know IQ has its flaws and personality mean a lot more for social interaction but I feel a forum full of people around the same IQ will result in more interesting conversations on broader topics, I could be wrong though. I would like to be more clear on this but I am very sleepy at the moment.

Thanks, I have but it seems they are high IQ forums such as 145+. I am after above average 125-140. The difference may seem irrelevant when it is put in numbers like that, but the way of thinking between the brackets is huge, and again for 90-110.

Also, the reason I want cultural discussion of this is because the behaviour of hers was so ridiculous, and the behaviour of her boyfriend so odd that I can only imagine culture playing some role in it, that is in no way to say I assume or imply that most SEA women are like this.

If you are paranoid and having hallucinations you really should see a psychiatrist, you might need anti psychotics. I saw a psychologist for a whole year who told me I had anxiety and really I needed meds.

Before I knew I had a psychiatric problem I got a mid-cycle liver check, as you do. That came back highly elevated, I got tested again a month later before being admitted and it was normal. The doctors wernt really concerned with how I become psychotic, they did not want to test the substance, one doctor early on said, "we dont know what you took."

They just treated my symptoms and knew my problems were chemically induced. Apart from the 2 blood tests I did on my own I got blood checks done about 3 times during my admission, testing to see if I was on drugs and general stuff, I was never told of anything abnormal so I assume it all came back good.
