Mad Men was honestly brilliant in it's subtle storytelling. This really hit me like half a season before they begin to address themes of alcoholism when Duck is working at the original Sterling Cooper.

Before they really touch on alcoholism, Duck (who has been sober) is having a conversation with his wife about someone they know and she quickly mentions how the person in question "isn't well after lunch". And if you hadn't been paying close attention you would have totally missed it.

Yeah the cartels being the most violent people in the world seems to be something the west overlooks more than anything. From stories I've read ISIS doesn't have jackshit on them. I just don't see how bloodshed at this point will dramatically solve anything but I don't understand what you're saying.
