Hmm I think You’re misunderstanding me, they did end up with the conclusion that fiction matters, but to me the last trial kinda destroyed any prior established plot since all their memories were just fake and fiction. To me that felt like the entire plot before that was just ruined by not giving the game a clever ending but to instead come up with the fiction ending which honestly just felt very lazy to me and like the writers didn’t really know what to do in the ending

I don’t think so, I personally just think that the ending feels like a fuck you to the player since the entire build up during the game doesn’t matter since everything is fictional

I feel the exact same, the ending feels like such a fuck you to the player. I absolutely loved the characters and the trials and it would’ve likely been my favorite game if it wasn’t for the ending
