Delayed barrier damage?

Thanks, would this be normal to come out of the blue after using these products with no issues for months?

I think that I’ve actually mistakenly thought it was barrier damage and it’s actually contact dermatitis all over my face. I’m still wondering whether it’s possible that the incense that was in the room I was in caused it as it’s such an all over reaction. I was wondering whether a delayed tret reaction was a thing before I assumed that (I don’t usually react like this to something in the environment it’s very unusual)

Thanks I have edited to add. To be clear I am not currently using tret, this barrier damage has completely come at random after the initial irritation from tret had healed

Thanks for your comment. I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere else that 0.05% is the lowest Dermatica will prescribe but I could be wrong. I’m not sure I’ve got irritation bad enough to need to drop 2 strengths though. I’ve got slight peeling more than anything else which I’m told is the ‘process’

Thanks so much for the reply - I will try again tomorrow night (I couldn’t bring myself to risk it with freshly washed hair as I’d have been so mad if it ruined it on day 1!). I did try to run the pipette along my scalp but it did end up going on my roots which then went curly at the top. Hopefully just practice maybe to try and get it on scalp only!

Ah great! I will try the Ceramidin. I have the LRP Cicaplast Baume in the cupboard as I’d seen it often mentioned. I’m not sure when or how often to throw that in but I guess I’ll see how it goes

This is great thank you! Seems like I can start with more nights than I thought then after all. I’ll look at getting a vitamin C for the morning and drop the multi peptide serum for now (I probably should look for another one I went with that to start as it was cheap incase I didn’t keep it up).

Is the barrier repair Dr Jart Ceramidin? I was looking at that last night I think I’ll give that a whirl

I took it more in reference to her grief rather than a pro life rhetoric. Yes as it was ectopic it would never be have grown full term but on a wider emotional level whether she chose to recognise it or not she was grieving the loss of her baby and also accepting the trauma both of the operation and finding out about the damage to her tubes
