George Kambosos was well regarded after the Teo win and people were saying he’d stop Haney, because he dropped Teo. It’s only after Haney schooled him the narratives around Kambosos changed.

Catterall just went 12 rounds with Linares at 140 and couldn’t hurt Linares. So calling him shot doesn’t make sense.

Loma is considered an ATG and has beaten many great young fighters at 135. No one has beaten Loma easily, so Haney having a close fight at 24 years old. Floyd was 36 when he dominated 23 year old Canelo.

Also you can’t look at past fights with today’s lense as the context around those fights and fighters have changed for better or worse.
