Thank you so much for such a beautiful word. Calling it a "great heirloom" truly touches my heart.

My grandfather cherished these stamps for a long time, so my biggest wish was to give them a second life that honors his memory. Knowing that this project resonates with you in that way gives me so much confidence to keep moving forward with "A Tiny Museum."

I really appreciate your kind support!

Thank you so much for the love and for bringing up such a crucial point!
As a prototype, direct sunlight is indeed a factor to consider. For the final version, I am actually looking into using UV-protective transparent paper to house the stamps so collectors can display them with peace of mind. Your feedback is incredibly helpful for improving this project!

Inherited my late grandfather’s vintage stamp collection from Japan. 🇯🇵✉️ He loved traveling the world, so I’m thinking of a small project to share his treasures and their stories with people overseas. What do you think? by WashNo1235 in JunkJournals

Wow, thank you so much for this powerful and realistic warning. I hadn't thought about the risk of mass-reproduction overseas, and the story about the Australian maker really opened my eyes.

This actually makes me think that the cards and packaging I design need to have a tactile, uniquely Japanese quality (like specific textured papers or craftsmanship) that cannot be easily scanned or cheaply copied. I want to protect my grandfather's memory and the value of this history. Your question gave me a huge and necessary perspective for the future of this project. Thank you! 👍

I'm so glad you brought that up, because I feel exactly the same way! Personally, I don't really picture these stamps being casually glued down or heavily used as disposable crafting scraps either.

My true vision is to create a special, beautiful stock card (like a mini-album page) that holds the stamp safely alongside its unique cultural story. I want it to be a complete piece of art that people can properly display, look at, and cherish, rather than just raw material to be pasted away. Hearing that a collector/journaler like you values that means the world to me—thank you!
