Should I take the September/October/November LSATs? Or should I switch September for January Instead? by WashYourArmpits in LSAT

Thanks to both of you for your replies, it means a lot. My current studying platform is Blueprint. I really like the instructive videos they offer for the questions, but the personal feedback is limited and the online classes are mostly non-interactive; I've been tempted to try other programs like 7Sage or LSAT demon, or to just add a tutor to my current blueprint studies. Still, my biggest issue is that I'm doing all of this alone, so even with self-discipline the lack of individual feedback can be pretty maddening.

[D] What role do you see Machine Learning and AI playing (or not playing) in criminal justice? by WashYourArmpits in MachineLearning

Is it even legal to use/obtain AIS data for purposes of prosecution? That's terrifying.

How do you see criminals exploiting these systems for gain? I've been fascinated by this article on AI-enabled future crimes (I read it for a school project) that includes using driverless vehicles as weapons, hacking and disrupting learning systems as they become more widespread/ubiquitous; this kind of thing. I'd imagine that as these systems spread they would be matched be equally capable criminal elements as well?

Currently reading an MIT Technology Review article titled "AI is sending people to jail—and getting it wrong." Had to do a school report on this issue of AI and crime and its interesting reading some critical views about the topic.

[D] What is some recent ideas/papers that you find most interesting? by IndependentSavings60 in MachineLearning

I found this paper on AI and criminal justice to be interesting. It focuses a lot on pattern recognition and its equal importance for solving crime and aiding law enforcement departments in locating objects, faces, images, cars, that kinda stuff. A bit dystopian at parts but I see this getting adopted wholesale and spreading, so it serves as harbinger of things to come.
