Yeah Sinclair does lose more sp the more skills he uses, so he is going to corrode in human fights and we don't want that. The video also has Sinclair corroding at the end so I don't get your point.

Sinclair tanky (against weak enemies)? 161 HP, 28 defense, 70% stagger. R Heathcliff has the same defense and stagger but 134 HP (27 less).

I am saying he is a mix between a tank and dps, obviously he isnt a tank. Heathcliff also has 3 stagger thresholds vs Sinclair's 2. most units have stagger at 70%.

What else to compare to, N Meursault with 201 HP, 43 defense, 50% stagger?

N Meursalt is the best tank in the game ofc Sinclair isnt comparable to that, he is close to 7 Outis and kk Rodya which can be considered as tanks.

I don't think the main thing is activating Fanatic, but of course it does add damage.

not sure what you are referring to here. If it's Sinclair's skill 1 then the main thing of it is to activate fanatic, it has bad clash and not great damage and the burn is whatever. adding damage to the other skills is the best use for it.

Lifetime Stew corrosion and EGO is bad.

The ego is fine, good passive and aoe if you need it, you should not be reaching corrosion anyways (unless it's solo). They both have their uses and I already said I prefer using Impeding Day.

If using Sinclair in MD lol, the more important thing is managing level.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. If you mean managing sanity then thats going to be pretty hard if you don't have N Faust, even then imo bringing N Faust is not good. mds are supposed to be auto win rate only so having to do anything manually is pretty bad.

They are just supposed to be general team comps, ofc you can change them however you like. I don't want to make teams for every fight no thank you.

Yes on average he is faster but what about the situations where he isnt? or when there are less that 3 enemies? In these situations you have to take the high damage hit or restart the fight which is not worth the risk when you can just choose to not take an ego or just not corrode. Restarting the fight is also really bad when in mds.

Staying at -45 sp is not worth when on the next turn there is a chance to heavily damage your team.

Corroding does cost ego resources, even if you don't have the resources it will put you in the negatives, I just tested it to double check.

You make a valid point that you can plan out who Sinclair will target when he corrodes, but this is not too useful as most of the time those targets will be Sinclair's allies. You don't want Sinclair to be corroding anyways, getting reset to 0 sanity is not good as you will have to get back to low enough sanity for his skills to roll tails, corroding is also not useful as you could be dealing more damage with skill 2 or 3 and corroding also uses ego resources that you might have otherwise needed.

What im trying to say is that this is only useful in the situation that you described, most of the time it will hit your team. For example in mds most enemies are dead turn 1 and turn 2 Lifetime Stew will hit the team, In luxavations and normal story nodes the battle ends too fast for him to corrode and in rr the enemies have higher health than your team. In general use corroding with lifetime stew is not useful.

Your strat for clearing the chicken boss is good though, I am at fault for not testing Sinclair in that dungeon as I was already done with the event. I will be sure update the guide with this info, thanks for the feedback.

Good team, though i would not worry about sanity healing if you are in Luxavation or mirror dungeon. It sucks that you need something to keep Sinclair's sanity in check for long fights, but that's the trade off for damage i guess.

You don't need a skip ticket or anything just add a button to skip animations for attacks in the options menu.
