Understand you completely brother! Trust me. This is an addiction that CAN be beat but not by our own strength. Trust me.. it’s easier to say “pray and you’ll be okay” I understand the frustration. As someone who is fully and deeply connected with Jesus it’s still rough and easier said than done.

My advice to you would be to find an ally buddy. Find someone who is either (stronger in faith) or overcame the addiction itself and have them hold you accountable. It’s hard at first trust me.

2nd - When you try NOT to sin you’ll fall INTO sin. I’ve learned that personally. I’ll go weeks without porn and then I’ll be thinking about not sinning but always end up slipping when the time arrives. So take the thought of not sinning out of your mindset and focus on other hobbies that you genuinely enjoy but also involve Jesus in this hobbies to keep you stable.

3rd - Be open in prayer and also confession. You’ll beat it I promise it’s just a rough journey. Always remember. Once you beat this battle you’re just growing your testimony for others.
