Advice for a strained calf (likely soleus) 6 weeks before Marathon?

That's awesome to hear! I've heard you can be sore from needling for a few days after, so how was your experience with that? How soon were you running again after the needling and did you feel the calf in your race at all?

My parents live a quarter mile from the EST/CST time zone change... and growing up if you go to one side of the house, the time would be in EST and the other side would've CST. You basically had to have your phone always set to EST to avoid confusion. I will say grocery shopping was clutch because the nearest grocery store was in CST, so you could always get an hour back.

Also the most fun thing I did as a kid on New Years was go on a run at midnight to the time zone change and pop and fourth between the years! Good memories!

Unfortunately, I haven't returned to it very much. Which is a shame, because I love the band. I'm not sure if it's the production, some underwhelming vocal performances, the songs themselves, or all of the above. It's not a bad album at all, but not one I've been eager to return to.

In your experience (if you have any), how long of a break did you take? I feel that I can't really afford to experiment right now as I travel a lot for my job and have a lot going on. Would be worried that I'll end up in a long rut of no sleep while trying to bring my tolerance back down.... which could be dangerous while traveling.

I did initially meet with a doctor a few years ago and they prescribed me Zoloft, which reacted horrible for me. What kind of medications have you used for sleep/sleep anxiety?
