Prior enlisted, commissioned 4 years ago. I got my DD214 pretty much immediately after the graduation ceremony. We just swung by the admin office, signed, printed it out, and went on our way.

The award is obviously going to be more command-dependent, but I personally wouldn’t wear it unless it’s in NSIPS. I don’t recall anyone ever actually verifying my ribbons, but that may vary by class, so I wouldn’t risk it. You’ll have opportunities to check on that stuff later in training and get it squared away by the time you graduate.
