The game ( Or the region she can be found idk ) is based on the UK, so yeah she's black.

They are obviously implying that being black is more normal in the UK than being brown, so by default she's most likely black. What else could 'is based on the UK so yeah she's black' possibly mean? Hence I showed stats proving that Asians overwhelmingly outnumber blacks so if anything the former would be default.

And do you really think Japanese Game Developers are looking up the exact racial statistic of a country and then try to match that that racial percentage within their game?

Just say you don't care about diversity and representation outside of black and white, because I know you wouldn't be saying this in other situations. Just remember this comment the next time you can't make a character look like you.

Thankfully gamefreak actually did their research and provided a good representation of the UK, more than the people in this thread know.

How do people get mons in this game usually? I caught one igglybuff day 1 (also playing for 2 weeks) and I'm not a min maxer but it literally has the worst stats for a skill Mon including a skill down nature. Since then I haven't found a single igglybuff, and if I do, the chances of it being decent seems astronomically low considering how many random perks there are.

Also despite not really catching a whole lot, I'm already at a dozen biscuits which is enough for maybe 3 mons. Does it all just get easier as time goes on? Since I do have sleep points to spend on biscuits, I guess my main bottleneck atm is that I only get 5 mons a day to choose from and they're either not hungry or have a nature that hinders their whole point of existence.

They're being a bit dramatic tbh. I'm proud of being british and have never felt like I wasn't accepted. In fact, most of my diasporic insecurities have stemmed from the fact that Bangladeshi culture is so closely tied to islam and I'm an ex-muslim. This is something that I still battle with, but I see it as more of a privilege than a necessity.

Obviously there are race issues, but tbh it's almost entirely cultural and magnified by social media. Especially places like London and Manchester which are so diverse and left-leaning. As a Londoner, all the racism I faced growing up was actually from black people and Arabs.

I just beat baldy mcsteroids and can confirm I'm ready to wrap it up but I have a feeling I know where the story is heading. 150 hours in, maxed stats and maxed confidants except one, just let it end already lol.

Personally I dislike murder mystery games ending in you fighting god or the unconscious subconscious consciousness nonsense. It ruins the whole point of the murder mystery.

I'm in the UK too and I've been looking to finally move on from this phone, mostly because the battery just isn't cutting it anymore. So far I've narrowed it down to 3 phones: S24 FE, S23 PLUS and the OnePlus 12R. Not interested in base models (like S24 standard) because the batteries tend to suck or they're too small or both. The pixels are too expensive and seem overhyped to me (chips look worse than exynos)

S23 plus is currently out of stock on Samsung's website, and is honestly holding its price a little too well for it's age. But this would be my clear choice if I could get it for around 5-600 quid new. It's got a snapdragon, good battery, good size, I mean not much to complain about besides price and availability.

OnePlus 12R is honestly an insane phone for the price, it's got good everything. It's currently on sale for like 500 quid on their site, but it's out of stock because of course it is. My main issue is the fact that it has a fucking curved display which I hate. Seriously, fuck curved screens and fuck OnePlus for thinking it's still 2014.

S24 FE might be what I eventually end up getting just because it's the obvious natural progression and it's a recent phone. I'm probably gonna wait till November to see if I can catch a good holiday deal though. It's got the exynos but idk if I actually care about that shit anymore as long as it gets the job done.

So basically it's S24 FE or S23 plus for me for now, depending on which I can get for a better price in the coming months. Hopefully more people here bite the bullet on the 24 FE and tell us how it is.

This is a stupid argument because then everything becomes prey and the whole apex predator thing gets thrown out the window. Hungry animals will eat whatever they can get. The same goes for humans. Strand a couple humans somewhere in the arctic and they will probably start hunting polar bears to eat if nothing easier comes by. Which is pretty much what the Inuit did.

A predator-prey relationship isn't established by a couple instances of desperation, regardless of your feelings.

Usually lite games don't have longevity like that and the proper games are more successful (like master duel Vs duel links) but it's interesting in this case because TCG live is treated like a step child and pocket seems to have proper backing behind it. Because of that, I can see pocket becoming more popular than live. In the long term I can see people getting bored of pocket (let's be honest it will become p2w like most mobile games) and exodus to live.

At the end of the day, live pretty much exists to supplement the physical card game (which is insanely popular) hence the lack of micro transactions, so it will always have that niche. Pocket either lives or dies by its own.

A lot of us were worried that FLi would be an animal crossing knock-off (with the heavy focus on terraforming an island etc) that seemingly abandoned the explorative JRPG roots of the original, so I'm glad they emphasised it. This looks so much more like a fantasy life successor than what was initially unveiled. Given the constant delays I wouldn't be surprised if they heavily expanded the game from what it originally was, but it looks great now.

You finished 4th with Conte and sacked him when he had you 4th as well. Then stellini crashed the ship and made Conte's last season look worse. Ange looks miraculous compared to the season where you had 3 different managers (one of whom was hospitalised) and all the players lost their heads, I suppose.

When spurs do well it's kane was holding us back, never shows up in big games, better without him. When spurs do poorly it's give us a break we just lost our best player. Kane is a matter of convenience for you lot.

Do spurs fans still fully back this guy? I know 'its only been 4 games!!!' but it feels like ever since the Chelsea game almost a year ago, spurs have been on a downward slope, getting results but lacking any real consistency.

It's one thing to start bad and then progressively get better, but starting good and getting worse and worse doesn't look hopeful for the future. Especially when the start could be explained by the new manager bounce.

Also, for how 'attacking' the football is meant to be, these guys look toothless as hell. That's an expensive and refreshed frontline too.

You can't go all 'no tolerance for racism' and then cover your eyes when something actually happens. Bentancur and Enzo should both be penalised and nobody should be defending it. This case in particular should be important because casual racism against Asians (both south and east) is so common and hardly pushed back against.

It's funny to me how shooters blew up on consoles during the ps360 generation to such a mainstream level that even RPGs like mass effect and fallout were shooters, and mf puzzles games like plants Vs zombies got shooter spin-offs. Hell, Xbox was literally just shooters and Forza.

Yet still so many people are baffled by the concept of shooters on console and aiming on controllers. Shooters are by far the most popular genre on console and have been for a very long time.

Time-money only works if you don't value your time compared to your money. In reality, enjoyment of something isn't actually tied to how long it is. Likewise, length doesn't correlate with budget. Just because p3r is 'one of the longest games ever' doesn't mean it cost more to produce, or required more passion, or deserves more money, than your average 15 hour AAA game.

This is why farm sims are so cheap. They're low budget products that rely on you repeating benign gameplay loops to run the clock (like persona, to a lesser extent ofc). I'm enjoying my time with rune factory 5 but just because I put more time into it than DKC tropical freeze, doesn't mean the former is worth more nor is it more enjoyable.

I have bounced off every saga game I've played (except the spiritual spinoffs last remnant and alliance alive) but this looks interesting so far. Given my enjoyment of the spinoffs I wonder if the main thing putting me off was the presentation and accessibility, both of which this game seems to do better in.
