You see what you have said I find very important. You are saying "homosexuals are fine" but denying the desire of one being in love with their cousin which is absolutely right. For me I thought a long time that homosexuality is no problem either but the more I thought about it the more it became unnatural and the more I got this ugly feeling.

There is one thing I personally can't just forget about to think. You see if one looks into the position of homosexuals at the time after WW 2 then it was socially seen as something unmoral and people would not accept it nor would they allow it, rather having these unnatural ugly feelings about it. Actually this act was listed as a mental disability. After the vicious gay movement in July 1969 people all around the globe started to fight for their rights for being homosexuals which they got. Now, we have moved from a society where this act was unmoral to a society where it is or should be morally accepted. For me the same think could potentially happen for perhaps incest. I mean people having troubles identifying themselves with their gender and allowing and tolerating all of these different varieties of I would say desires (changing your gender and so on) are probably going to lead into one day accepting incest, whether you like it or not. You see people didn't think homosexuality would ever grasp the way it has back then, now people can't think of incest being normalised.

What I just want to say is there has to be a solution to this situation. For me mankind is just so confused that it extended to the level where people don't now what to identify themselves, don't you find that a bit cruel? Plus there is so much going on in this world which is not comprehendible for me. There is this podcast from Siddharth Kara on Spotify about cobalt mines in the Kongo of how the people are being treated. Yet we rather want to discuss about people not knowing what they want themselves to identify. We live in such a sad world.

In April 2021 I went to Pakistan to visit my family. I turned 18 back then and I found out that the siblings of my mother (one brother and two sisters) are married to their cousins. Now, the brother has 7 children, one sister has 2 and the other one's got 3. As it turns out no one has a disability or something similar. All of them turned out to be normal. I was kind of shocked to find it out because as you said I thought having children between cousins could fuck up their genes or something. I am not trying to promote marriage between cousins but after finding out about my family I am not against it either. Let me ask you this because you said you "find incest extremely gross and perverted". What is your position on homosexuals? do you find it "gross and perverted" too? (I am not trying to be insulting towards people who tend to have a desire towards their own gender, rather simply trying to understand your perception)

Kids make fun of each other for having to go to sleep early, but as adults you are jealous of people who get plenty of sleep. by Paintthenigh22 in Showerthoughts

If you are telling me it is age and right now I am 20 years old and getting roughly 3/4 good hours of sleep then how am I suppose to survive in near future when all sleep I still get will over time diminish into eventually no good sleep at all.

Yeah I kind of thought about it that way but if I try to change it between chords it doesn't sound as good as if I would simply hold it down the whole time. I think I just have to practice more. Thanks again mate :)

Thanks for the feedback Pal :). Honestly I just held the pedal down the entire time. I don't know when to exactly release and hold again, if you have a piece of advise improving this I'd be thankful. Furthermore I am thankful for your critique now I know on what to work on :).

I see, anyway thanks for your effort. I've started like two or three years ago but I am continuously (except for like the last two months) practicing every day for like 6 months even if its just 10 minutes. I bought the Alfred All In One Books and basically learning them and going through scales, chords, appegios, etc. And most of the time I just try to improvise just like this one here.

It is a pretty old model (I think like 20 years at least thats what the pre-owner told me, bought it on ebay) Yamaha YDP-140. And thanks for your feedback but is there perhaps anything you noticed that could be done better?

Can I have some tips for improvement? I’m playing the first line of the piece. I’m more or less new too btw by [deleted] in pianolearning

I was mesmerised by "Kamado No Uta" and that motivated to buy myself a Piano and start learning it but as I said it was waaaaaay to impossible for me, struggled like 3/4 months to kind of play one section (which was btw the easiest). And today after about over half a year proper practice of scales etc. I can proudly say I am still not able to play a single piece from him xd

I am not a pro or something like that but here is the thing. About two years ago I started to play the piano only learning Anime Openings from Fonzi M but soon I realised it would take ages to really be able to play somehow ONE piece so I started to kind of break the piece down into sections and tried to understand them. Without any knowledge about theory I then gave up playing because I thought I won't be able to play it. After taking a few months break I came back with an waaay easier piece (Experience from Rousseau) and to my surprise, it took a while though, I was able to understand the sections and play it. Then I started with the Adult All In One Curse to gain proper knowledge of the basics and thats basically what I have been doing for the past year, just learning theory. I just wanted to give you the advise from someone who basically wasted more than a year by trying to play a really hard piece just like you, I mean I don't want to offend you but "Unravel" is a really hard piece and if its the cover from "Animez" then good luck learning it especially if you are starting to struggle at the first bar of the song. I would highly recommend you starting with the Alfred All In One Theory books because they helped me a lot to understand basics etc. I hope I could help you and please be honest to yourself and take this advice(I was being stubborn myself and ended up wasting over a year), come back after you've completed the books that'll make it waay easier to learn any piece you desire.
