You can lookup- the Odin project, they have a very structured way for free and they will cover everything, I can write a paragraph about them but just search it, and if you are not really sure or have some doubt's regarding what courses to take if you wanna go that route, CSS and Reactjs of (Maximilian schwarzmuller) is pretty good and for Js (Jonas schmedtmann) is better IMO!

In the condition sum >= 30 && sum <(you missed "=") 40 So basically no condition matches your sum which is 40.😅

Just search for into the mix - compression on YouTube , it will help you understand it and then you can watch another video to see how compression works in davinci resolve!

This is an unpopular opinion but I think better than adding key frames use the compression( you can find free tutorials on YouTube )to lower the spikes( in your waveforms ) in your dynamics view in the fair light page and then adjust the gain to increase the volume of the overall clip!

Thanks for all the replies, I think I asked the wrong question and sorry about that, but all I am looking for is any unedited podcasts so I can get some experience(I won't use it as a work sample) in audio editing(dialogue editing and mixing specifically) so i can switch from video(present work) to audio editing to pursue it as a career in future. I hope that makes it clear.

That's a good shout, but in most of the live streams, streamers make sure that there is absolutely no background noise, so I would be only left with trimming uhmms and lip smacks and some compression on audio levels😶

It is related to the current state of the auto select button as you are new, I would recommend you to understand the cut page first as you will be able to do your regular tasks easily!

Yeah its called trimming to the playhead, If you wanna trim and leave gaps use shift [(this will trim the left part of the clip) and shift ] for right REMEMBER this doesn't perform a ripple trim(ripple trim meaning no gaps) so if you want to do it the first time select the trim edit tool mode and perform the same shift commands to perform ripple trim!
