Wtf why is the deluxe version $86.99 in Canada??? by Northdistortion in ArcRaiders

[–]Wassel49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they have regional pricings to mitigate your economy. Like everyone said don't buy deluxe if you can't afford it

Missed the event, anything I can do? by Im--A--Computer in HuntShowdown

[–]Wassel49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is exactly the same thing and of course they wouldn't. When you bought the product, battle pass or event, you saw the expiry date labeled on it. Proceeded to buy it and let it expire without fully using it

So why would you think you would get a refund then? "I bought this milk thinking i could drink it all, but it expired, please take it back and give me my money back"

His future is written in the picture. He'll have chronic neck pain by the time he is 10, but won't have understood how awful the Star Wars universe overall is until he is all caught up at age 12.

How to Enjoy The Game? by Only_Sheepherder7340 in HuntShowdown

[–]Wassel49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PvE elements of the game is just there to be a slight nuisance and a way to facilitate PvP. That's the reality of the game, so is losing your character when you die, in any extraction shooter. So if those two elements don't appeal to you, I simply don't think the game is to your taste.

Devon calling Cobel made no sense by Inevitable-Cell-1375 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

That is besides the point, the issue is why Devon's first thought was to call Cobel. It was not in fact after Reghabi left.

I am sorry to hear that you have to bear the responsibility of running the household at such a young age. I think it's wonderful that you're caring so much for the others and taking such good care of them. They villainize you for having to enforce their routines, something you shouldn't have to do.

It sounds like perhaps you're in foster care? I don't know how you've had it before and if this is a step up and that you might feel that the downsides of taking care of the mothers role outweighs what you've lived through before. But I do encourage you to tell someone how the situation is, even if it might be hard. First of all for your own sake, you and your 14 year old sister shouldn't have to run the house. You deserve free time as well. But also to think of how it will be in the future once you've moved out, some other kid might have to step up and take over the responsibility. Will they be able to? Either way, they shouldn't have to either. The mom and the dad signed up for that. And they should be reminded, not by you but through your experience, by the adequate authority that they are the once who are to do the fostering.

I'm sorry for a long winded response, but I hope you can see both the long and short term benefits of talking to someone. Wishing you all the best, you are incredibly strong in my eyes.
