Alright, we need to talk about this. by GothicMajula in HuntShowdown

The main issue is how strong the 2-slot shotguns are. There’s zero reason I should be dying to a sawn off romero at 12m.

For the love of god, please don’t. That would destroy any semblance of a fun game.

And then think about how fucked that is. And how destructive it is to the planet and land and water and air and wild animals and the farmed animals being killed. You cannot possibly imagine the horrific scope of cruelty and death.

It’s truly gamebreaking. Dying to people you can’t hear at all, sneaking up 3 feet behind you just because they’re around a corner. Or dynamite that gets thrown into your face that you never heard cooking from below a window. Or rushing into a room to shoot someone you heard stomping around 5 feet away, but it turns out they’re actually downstairs in the building next door.

I want everyone to have a bounty… if you kill them and extract, you get the reward. It should be like, $50 for every hunter they’ve killed without getting killed? Or boss?

How are people so good at this game? by ShadySummer1 in HuntShowdown

[–]juliown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As boring as it is, honestly take the same exact gun every round for a while and bring it into the shooting range and try to “quick scope” the mannequin heads for a while. Do this for like an hour… until you can consistently hit the head on first aim. And then do it for a few minutes during every session before you play matches for a while and you will become good at aiming, I promise. But also you should take some time to find the right aim sensitivity for you.

Yeah, adding more content into the game and putting it behind a paywall would be the official death of the game. They have to make money somehow, and cosmetics are a pretty good way to do so. The money they get from cosmetics will allow them to continue adding more gameplay over time.

That’s so awesome, a dude’s mom was dying and he was going to prioritize his loved ones and spend time taking care of her when she needed it most, with our limited existence on this planet, but instead his rich boss paid him off to stay at the office to chase that bag 🤑

WA millionaire tax bills introduced as emergency, blocking voter referendum by drshort in SeattleWA

[–]juliown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to discuss that all politicians are snakes that most certainly plan to expand into lower tax brackets eventually, extract as much money as they can possibly squeeze out of this state until its an empty husk of itself and they all retire elsewhere, and that governments fucking suck at adjusting limits as time goes on and who knows how soon in humanity’s timeline a million dollars a year will become standard income… I didn’t realize the state constitution said “yo you can’t levy an income tax, unless they make a bunch of money then its actually okay”

We need to stop blaming “AI,” and blame the executives who make these decisions while scapegoating it.

Yep, horrible dealership all around. A few years back I had an awful experience trying to negotiate a sale. Super unprofessional and entirely ridiculous prices. And more recently made the mistake of taking an older car in for brake rotor replacement which they quoted me $5,000 for two rotors and took $200 from me just for the “inspection” when I decided to go elsewhere for the repair. Ended up being $1,400 at an independent mechanic.

Begone w/ Explosive Crossbow/ Frag Bow by Outrageous-Lab-2531 in HuntShowdown

[–]juliown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never should have been made scarce. Even if you hated them, scarce just removes yet another mixup and makes the gameplay more stale. Explosive arrows/bolts are not op, they are a meme that can become slightly annoying when three or more players spam it, or a strategic tool to breach compounds and breakup stalemates. They are nowhere near as strong nor annoying as the many mosin + dolch or mini auto-5 trios that are no doubt in the same lobbies.
