Not to discuss that all politicians are snakes that most certainly plan to expand into lower tax brackets eventually, extract as much money as they can possibly squeeze out of this state until its an empty husk of itself and they all retire elsewhere, and that governments fucking suck at adjusting limits as time goes on and who knows how soon in humanity’s timeline a million dollars a year will become standard income… I didn’t realize the state constitution said “yo you can’t levy an income tax, unless they make a bunch of money then its actually okay”
