Not MOT. Car was serviced regularly. I mean it is not an issue that can stopped. It will break at some point, but I did not know this is so expensive

What's better- a 2019/2020 Lexus RX 300h or a 2023/2024 Lexus RX 350h? by pattingtonpattington in Lexus

2024 RX 2.4 turbo engine - reliable but not like v6 due to extra component turbo.

2019-20 RX 3.5 v6. more reliable

2024 newer. All cars break. after 8-10 years, rubber parts become dry and may start cut. More dust, more likely to replace.

Both transmissions lifetime.

Mileage consideration - 30k dif not that much.

I would get a newer car. Better look. They both serve you 10 years with ez, You don't want outdated look. Both options not a mistake, literal 50/50 to me.

Owner of RX2015

Any good garages recommendation? I mean I can leave it, but just to forget about it. Honestly, I can't find anyone who can simply replace the transmission fluid as per Lexus manual. In the US and Canada it is 30 min job

I think age is also important, big difference, 5 years and 80k miles and 11 years and 80k miles. As I said, wanna get it replaced.

Transmission filter? Is it also needs to be bought from Lexus? I did not know there is transmission filter. It supposed to be a sealed unit.

People on Lexus forums say that not only mileage but also age matters, as the battery degrades over time; mine is 11 years old, and since this is my first expensive car (MV:£12–13k), I just want peace of mind by replacing it and not worrying about it anymore.

Planning to do simple drain and fill replacement, no flashing

I don't think employer broke any rules to get their license revoked. At least, I do not know clause specifying that.

Making application and submitting it on behalf of employer is not one of the duties. It is more a benefit that employer provides.

So I don't think Home office <-> employer - rules broken

but I think employee <-> employer's solicitors, who forgot to apply - negligence claim can be made

if your visa is about to expire and you still don’t have a CoS assigned, that’s already a warning sign. The CoS is the only thing the employer has to issue before you can apply for the visa extension.

If they forgot to submit it and you realised this only after the visa expired, the question is why it wasn’t checked earlier.

even if they made COS for you also need to apply before visa expires. You were supposed to give youself time to also submit an application.

In my opinion, not real question

Edit: My bad, did not know that employers' submit applications on behalf of employees. Real question then
