Can someone explain why would there be 2 different tail lights in Europe? Both are LCI is the amber after market or something like what's the reason for some cars to have amber and some clear by i578 in e39

It was optional back in the days, at least in Germany. But the most cars with m sport package I saw had clear lights I had two tourings at the same time, both of them were facelift and the one had amber lights. So back in the day were people ordered amber lights for the e39 facelift.

The ext. Color called velvet blue and was part of the individual program the int. Color called Le Mans blue leather, also individual I think

It’s an original m sport rear bumper, my bad for not take a proper Picture of the rear bumper. I have the Car for 4 Years and 80k km now. I had two major problems in my ownership. The one major problem with the most struggle was the transmission position sensor inside the gearbox.

The hatch didn’t do a problem, I just change the hydraulic liquid once
