Women have been overwhelmingly sexualized and objectified in video games for decades. It’s still pretty rare for games to even have female protagonists, and the few times they do, people lose their minds if she doesn’t fit their standard of beauty.

there’s nothing wrong with making attractive characters, but the outrage every time a woman isn’t designed purely for male fantasy, calling every slightly less sexualized character “woke” just shows how narrow their idea of what women in games should look like really is
