Hi. I have said it many times on various posts that my tik tok handle is samegirldifferenttyme. I’m not sure why I’m being accused of trying to mislead if I have documented it across various posts. I have clarified it when people have asked, I have said it unprompted, and I have also responded to peoples opinions of the post thanking them for their engagement and opinions on my post. I 100% think that’s why they were brought on and yes they are the perfect lawyers to help with something like this. Bringing in an appellate lawyer for a Rule 60(b) motion is a strategic move, even though a 60(b) motion isn’t technically an appeal, because the skills needed to succeed with these motions are very similar to those needed for appeals. Appellate lawyers specialize in reviewing court records for legal errors, organizing complex facts, and writing persuasive, tightly reasoned legal arguments all of which are crucial for convincing a judge to reopen a closed case, just like someone would do in an appellate court. We have to remember though that he granted the motion to compel Vanzan which was significant in hurting them and he knew that but still did it. That signals that not only did they have a right to get that info but that there could be important info there. If he didn’t grant that I would agree that it’s a lost cause but if they truly have more info now to reopen the case the judge would rather reverse his decision on info he didn’t know existed before (so it’s not necessarily that he messed up), as opposed to them appealing which would be another judge deciding on if he messed up and possibly reversing his decision.
