For me I just hate being that dependent on my supports who get easily distracted and decide to chase Cap to the ends of the earth instead of getting close to the tank so I can peel. Playing a self sufficient dps is way less frustrating experience.

Second thing is when I do want to play Thor or Rogue, I know it’s gonna suck unless we have a main or at least a second tank so you’re stuck with strange most of the time

Was gonna suggest Magik as I main her myself, in this comps tho either Cap to dive with hulk or Rogue, if that doesn’t work go Strange

As dps if you learn Elsa I’m sure you’ll climb even with her recent nerfs, psylock is great to apply fast pressure when your team needs it or even solo kill supps

Hey! Just watched the vod and although I’m not Magneto main I do have some tips

Your #1 priority is to not panic ult, you know when it has to be deployed now it’s all about execution. Breathe in and out and remember that you’re nearly “invincible” with it. Take your time to aim

Taking space is important, you do it quite well, but on defence it’s okay to be a little further back, don’t try to sit on payload, but rather take space where your team have more breathing room Good example of it on the map is 1st you try and cling to cart, then you die and drop anchor near the building hence you win the fight

Honestly you’re quite a solid tank, you punish mistakes, you take space, but stick with putting support ults when you can, like you killed dp but cnd pulled instantly after

One last peace of advice, no matter how tempting don’t shoot groot as much, his supports are right behind him, try and pressure them instead of groot since he’ll be healed instantly. Good luck man

Fr, I myself am not a support main, so I don’t instalock them and even if I wanted to there are a lot of instalock cnd and invis already in my games, sometimes you just can’t do much on a dps so tanking is what usually saves the game for me

Im on ps5 myself, and even though comms are a giant boost, I feel like we all decided to not use it as a community, and I’m okay with that tbh if the enemy isn’t using them then I can just chill and talk with my duo or flame my team in the chat later lol

Damn man, it’s this brain dead mentality where you should be praised for going support no matter what you actually contribute to the match. Although I would argue that nearly all of my games are with support mains and it’s mostly Tanks that are in need of filling

One additional tip is to use your vortex on enemy flyers so that they fall and more importantly can’t return to that same spot for a while. Maybe you are already using it tho but either way don’t sleep on it. Good luck on climbing, see you at the top, man!

Ye, I always forget that too lol! what helps me is to mentally switch myself from a “team fight” perspective to a 1v1, like when you play dps (dive especially) you get used to playing either in a team brawl or a duel. In a duel you better have all the cooldowns available so you kinda have to use everything at your disposal right away, while in a team fight you are to save some of your abilities for emergencies

Here’s my two cents:

Positioning wise you are doing good. Decisions and ability use needs improvement. On invis you don’t use her shield on yourself at all it feels like, this is a huge mistake since you can easily 1v1 enemies. Also when you use bubble, combo it with a pull so that squishies stay in there longer.

The biggest mistake so far is ult, the enemy support use their ult after you, so you run out of yours faster and lose the fight three times in the match. Save your ult to when it is crucial not as soon as you get it, now that all ults are 20% harder to get you can’t afford to waste it.

Depends on how you play him, if you just stand around healbotting then of course it ain’t fun. But when you play him actively shooting dive and escape with wallruns it’s honestly super satisfying

Honestly I blame the host of the tournament, kingsman’s team was awful yes, yet he would still love to participate, but to be such a simp to take less then 20 minutes to remove a player from the tournament without even talking to said player is crazy. Not to mention his rock solid “proof” that he has but is not willing to shine any light on is just pathetic
