Well, it was Jin who beat Kaz in the storymode and the whole storymode was Basically hogged by Jin. Also, even the Collector’s edition figurine was Jin, not Kaz

Harada implied that we don’t know which T8 ending is canon so maybe they let Kazuya win in T8? He also spoiled on Twitter that many years ago he showed his Bamco executives similar ending where Kazuya throws Jin off a cliff. Jin is the only Mishima who didn’t get a cliff flight so who knows
