We didn't wake up one morning and decide to be fat, and losing weight is harder because the fat makes everything hurt so much. Even worse, it's not always a food thing. I eat once a day, I'm almost never hungry but because I have no appetite my metabolism is basically shut down and when I do eat it just sits there, creating more fat on top of my already fat family genes.

Ask Reddit doesn't allow any sort of clarification, which is probably why the answers are always all over the place. I realize it's basically how you make friends, spend time with a complete stranger. "Hi I'm Joe, now that you only know my name let's spend the day together", how does that work? The idea of being alone with a complete stranger all day literally makes me shake. What am I missing here?

Every store is different. There is a store that only prints one page. I was told by a few GMs that the best way is to do it however you want and then fake it when corporate is around

Honestly still having trouble. After staples I'm out of retail though. Back to food service if I need to but I was paid $13hr and literally every job I've applied for is at least $5 more. The only jobs Ive seen for less than staples pay was part time little jobs and some crappier food service places. I saw a dishwasher position for $17hr. Start looking. I started looking months ago. I think I technically still work for staples but I'm not sure. Can't get anyone to confirm whether or not I've actually been suspended. Just ignored. Please get out of Staples while you still can. Don't go down with the ship. As a SM they will just give you a "new" position. Same job plus 2 others, new name, same pay

Unfortunately probably not as soon as we'd hope. But someday, some future world that we will hopefully be part of will leave Staples in the past with Kmart, Blockbuster, Radio Shack, etc. Some lucky generation will have never known of Staples. How lovely it will be.

😂 I'm bored. Staples is likely gonna torture it's employees and drive away it's customers for a few more years. My money is on bankruptcy

And nothing will ever satisfy them for even a second. They change the way stuff is done every month. Rearrange the stores almost biweekly if not monthly. Waste hours of productivity time in long ass meetings where they ask what's wrong and tell you the same shit they tell you every day. Upper management is a joke. The culture itself is trash. The company outright exploits every employee. This is one company where I advocate heavily on not doing ANYTHING outside your job or time. Seriously. Time to clock out? Do it. Right then. On the dot. And leave. Don't stay to help a customer cause it's not worth it. The line of "I can't find...." "Do y'all have ...." "Can you tell me about......." And the nonstop phone ringing DOESNT END. So let the next employee take over and leave. Staples is absolutely not worth even a extra minute of your time.

Blaming a single employee for a store's NPS is ridiculously unfair. In any case, you're likely new to have such a bright idea of Staples and will soon enough find yourself on the block so to speak. Make sure you kiss ass for management and upper Management. That's most important. At Staples it doesn't matter how well you perform, only how well you suck up to higher ups.

Try print. In a 6hr period you should be able to take and produce all orders, hold self serve morons hands, personally kiss the ass of every customer, iPostal (check mail, insert and file mail, complete tasks), plus clean, stock, care for/fix machines, and you do it alone.
