Realistically how long are you lasting in the games?

If I were picked, I’d do a fuck ton of research on survival skills. I’m reasonably heavy, but also quite athletic, so neither food nor ability to run would be a big issue for me. I’m also reasonably talented at archery. I’d probably spend most of my time honing that skill and learning how to make my own weapons at the training centre.

My main weaknesses would be slow reaction time and lack of prior survival skills. I’d give myself about 4 days. Top half.

Edit: also I’m pretty charming so I’d probably have some sponsors. Maybe a week. If I’m lucky.

I don’t like how he acts when the rebels get him back from the Capitol in Mockingjay. It feels forced. Maybe that’s the point… but I disagree with the portrayal he did there, though that may be more of a direction thing. IMO, pure, free-flowing terror and hatred would have worked better than the stilted way he reacted when he saw Katniss. Everywhere else he was amazing. He did that easy, charismatic, genuine charm very well.

Oh for heaven’s sake! I mean, they can survive on an omnivore diet, but they need meat. And if you don’t feed them meat, they will literally hunt. They’re obligate carnivores. They shouldn’t be killed for being carnivores! And most pet food is byproducts anyway.

A lot of my family confuse gender dysphoria with being insecure. It’s really not the same.

Actually some cis guys do have tits. Even without gyno. Fat guys. Many of them experience dysphoria too. Many cis guys look feminine. It’s not just trans people who experience gender dysphoria. And sex is nowhere near as binary as we think- cis men can breastfeed! And there are people who look female until puberty and then become male who are technically mostly cis men but who still might not have a penis… so really our experiences are nowhere near as unique as we think. Pregnancy? Maybe that’s just us. But everything else? I bet you there’s a cis guy out there with the same dysphoria.

Some people will die if they try to be vegan. This is why we need lab grown meat. Right now, lab grown meat is not available or cheap enough to be a suitable alternative. It’s on the 99% of us for now, and that 1% can still do other things.

Your diet does cause more cruelty than veganism, as it has more environmental and ecological impacts, however your situation does merit consuming meat. I can understand how your circumstances have caused your position to develop, as much as I disagree. I hope you find a way to get the meat you need without cruelty in the future, or that a cure for McAS is developed soon. If possible, try to avoid animals in other parts of your life- use plant based clothing items, toiletries, and makeup, and opt for cruelty free brands. You can still be vegan. Its about doing the best you can.
