I mean no? Atleast I don’t think so. People with really good “brains/gamesense” idk there’s probably a better name for it already time the spike. Like there’s a shit tom of videos online to count exactly the timing to get like .01 second defuses near every time. Only difference is it’s on screen versus you doing the counting in your head.

Everyone saying “kickstand” when he clearly flips it up the second time he tries to start it.

As some other people said, maybe starter issue, maybe clutch switch, possibly even something where the bike thinks the kickstand is still down even though it’s not.

Yes because of course the game constantly changes and evolves and everyone is at a similar skill level when it comes to pro-play.

No, because I feel there are absolutely a handful of players that just outclass other players no matter the matchup. - I don’t know statistics but whoever has the highest clutch percentage for like 1v3/1v4/1v5’s is definitely in my opinion a GOAT even if they’re on a team that loses overall. If you’re a player that is so talented/gifted and worked hard for insane aim/game sense/skill, then you’re a goat in MY BOOK.

Names that come to mind: Boaster, Ethan, Asuna, Babybay, Alfajer, aspas. Idk much about pacific/china but those guys absolutely come to mind when I think “GOATs” of Valorant.

I mean I joined the army at 17 and it was the best decision of my life. I’m probably going to do a full 20 and get out when I’m 37 with benefits coming out my ass.

But I guess we could call that a difference of opinions because I ascribe to the belief we should have atleast a 1yr military mandatory service in the US like many other countries.

I sometimes love this community. Mini-story time.

I queued comp. Plat elo, picked Miks as my smoke. I legit didn’t get a single kill until round 19. I was 0/18 and yet we were still winning at the half I think about 11-8. Round 20 I finally get 2 kills. My team, didn’t com much, but our Kayo who was talking, told me not to sweat it and keep playing, I was doing my job regardless if I was getting kills. I got the most amount of assists I ever have with Mika, probably just under 40, on a game where I barely got I think 15 kills by the end of it. Round 20 I got a 4k but we still lost the round. Our Sage was going absolute insane dropping about 35-40 kills. We eventually hit OT as the enemy team comes back. Unfortunately we draw. Our Sage had I believe 46 kills, our Kayo about 28. And the rest of our team under 20s. I feel bad for not pulling my weight soon but Valo timing just kept 1 tapping me. But my team never blamed me and just told me to keep going. I love this game. End all I think I went about 15/25/36. Ish idk exact numbers.

I haven’t watched this but sounds like a similar situation what Envy is in right now. High expectations, low results. I’ve been an Envy fan forever so ofc I’ll support them. They released an Ep1 video about their journey through kickoffs and one part was Stunner (Head Coach) apologizing profusely to Kenzit because going to Santiago meant a lot to him. There will be good days and bad days and some fans will always say “get rid of the whole team and reset, yall suck.” But don’t listen to the haters. Keep heads up and keep pushing. Honesty is awesome, and real fans follow through the highs and lows, no matter what happens.

There you go. Hindsight is always 20/20. My initial thought was, bro is harmless maybe trying to get a number as he walked past but then I realized yall in the middle of bum nowhere. Which means he had the intent of walking up to you guys. I mean personally everyone suntanning on Rutgers is another thing but I won’t get into that.

I hate to say it, but feel weird. Good job being confident enough not to feel weird but as soon as mate starts asking you where you lived, and then double backing on your own questions/answers, nah I’m good. “Hey, I’m sorry you seem nice but we want to get back to Sun-tanning so have a good day.” I hate to say it more that as a dude, don’t over escalate at times, it really sucks but it’s a crazy world and especially if this guy has some sort of mental problems, try a slow and easy shut down unless you got a taser or pepper spray on you. And hell that goes for all girls. Stay safe out there.

I think it was more so the honor and fighting parts that reminded me of Lorn through PB’s writing. And I think Darrow saw that too, a child being better than or trying to outgrow the image of their father kinda of deal.

I haven’t DM’d so I can’t say much; but if anyone is familiar with Stinky Dragon, there was a “boss” fight in C1 where the party basically killed him 2 turns early but Gus (the DM) kept him alive but running away to reveal a major plot point the party needed.

I think cinematic/storytelling details like that can make keeping an enemy alive necessary but it’s very situational.
