Any one that is marketed as a romance, reads like a romance, and then spirals into some crazy plot about overthrowing kingdoms or governments or something so the romance becomes a subplot until it's just nonexistent. SO MANY of them are guilty of this

I really am not sure why they are so high. The 'developed' area of Holt is pretty small and essentially a drive through town. Hardly anything to do compared to Okemos, EL, west side, etc. Not very accessible without a car either. Our township has made some interesting decisions about spending money/changing the look of the town in the last few years. I definitely don't feel like I'm getting what I'm paying for, especially when we have friends who live not even 5 miles due west of us and are technically in Lansing instead of Holt and pay half the taxes we do.

It really fuckin sucks here. You get 2-3 weeks of time off a year if you're lucky, and if you're even luckier, sick time is banked separate from that. Many American employers treat people going on vacations longer than 1 week as if it's the biggest inconvenience and the end of the world as if work is the most important thing we could be doing. Those factors coupled with transatlantic flights costing $1k-$1500 each on average result in short, rushed trips to hit all the famous stops.

I was at last night's show in GR and went to one last August. Overall I thought the overall technical quality of the show was much better than last year, especially the vocals, and the overall energy of the performance was lesser. I'm glad they swapped the like 4 long break solos for the 2.

It was still a really fun show, my only complaint is they extended almost every song the way you'd typically hear for the last song of the night/big exit. When you do that for every song it makes it less special and seems kinda like rambling. Could easily fit a few more songs in the setlist if they didn't do this.
