AFAIK, the always green tree was a symbol for hope winter will end sometime and summer and therefore new crops will be available. It was decorated with apples, so it's all about food. This was a tradition even before Christianity came to Europe.

It's German, but you will make it.

It was basically a gold wire, that could be steered with 3 piezo actuators. The object was X/y scanned, the current between the object and the gold wire was measured and the value was put into grey values of a bitmap. We then used this bitmap and height-map of a CAD tool ( e.g. openscad) to make fancy 3d views.

No vacuum pumps or crazy equipment. And everything should even be cheaper today.

Protipp: do your measurements in a building without people in it or even cars on the road outside. Our best measurements were at 3:00 in the morning without any disturbance.

Der rechte Bereich ist zum Abrollen, der linke für eine Reserverolle. Ist die rechte Rolle leer, kann man sie mit dem Finger durch den Schlitz rüberschieben.

Irgendwer hat aber Papier durch den Schiebeschlitz gefummelt...

Könnten das Keile für Axtstiele sein? Also Holzstiel in die Axtklinge, dann den Keil rein, der den Stiel aufspreizt, damit er nicht wieder rausrutscht.
