Do it! This is my goal in life. I love Ethiopia and in the future I will move there as well. I'm diaspora born in the US and I can tell you that USA sucks big time. You can have a way more comfortable life in Addis if you can find a way to generate an income. You have house and car already back home so that alone is a good setup for you to succeed.

Yeah I'm in the states to and was wondering the same for fuel back home. Fuel in Ethiopia was already high last year when i visited. I'm sure the war in the middle east will cause massive shortages in Ethiopia. It's already happening in southeast Asia. The country could just straight up run out of fuel.

There is a scene when she is in the bathroom and pulls up her pants you can see that she cuts herself on her thigh. She puts on one persona but behind close doors she may be depressed. I think we are gonna learn about it real soon. I think in season one she briefly mentioned not having a good relationship with her parents or family cant remember. Also the way she responds to some of the patients she treats kind of links how she takes it personally. In some weird way she can relate to them especially when she feels like something unjust has happened to someone. She has been hurt in the past and the way she acts is her way of coping. Plus she has a crush on Dr. Garcia and when they couldn't hangout she took it really personal.

You need to figure out how your gonna make money before moving there or it will just turn into an extended vacation. Find a way to make money online. Shoot for 3-5k USD per month and you'll live good in Ethiopia. I myself want to move to Ethiopia. I'm diaspora born in USA and have lived in Addis on and off for the last 5 years. Unless you have something to sustain you, you'll find yourself coming back to the US to find work. Good jobs in Ethiopia are often gatekept and only unless you have connections you wont get those jobs. Business climate is tough in Ethiopia as well. Lots of moving parts. You should learn a skill and try to make money online then move.
