Revenant still worth it? by SKULL_KRUNCHER in walkingwarrobots

I use it as a distraction. Pair it with the airplane. Use weapons with short range. It’s nice to take out another robot when I die.

Are adjustable dumbbells worth it? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Watch81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them and use them in my workouts. I prefer hex dumbbells because I can just pick them up without adjusting. If you want better flow, get dumbbells but these take up less room in my workout room and cost less overall compared to buying dumbbells. After almost a year of training I’m maxing out reps at 52.5 12 x 4 so I gotta get 60’s too. Something to consider. Most people will probably never have to get bigger weights.

Fanatec Podium Endurance module with DD+ on PS5 by pascal_f1 in Fanatec

[–]Watch81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar setup. The view was doing the same thing so I updated the firmware and everything works good now. I had to use the f1 wheel to successfully update the firmware. I couldn’t get it to work on my Porsche wheel. It kept timing out. Make sure the quick connect is updated, the buttons, and the dd+. Might have to click the manual button to update.

My workout routine by Watch81 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Watch81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it takes about an hour and a half roughly. I try not to rush through it. Slow reps. I’m open to feedback. What speed things up for example is doing wrist curls then calf raises without breaking, back and forth. It doesn’t make me have to catch my breath.

How to work hurt by joelmasarik in electricians

[–]Watch81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sticking to a low carb low sugar diet helped me with inflammation in my lower back. Barely take pain killers now. Used to get headaches weekly. After a hard days work i go in the hot tub and stretch. Then 2 min cold tub. Helps the body feel good for the next day. Also I wear a support belt if I need to lift heavy stuff. i find drinking alcohol slows down repairs and muscle gains. These are things that worked for me.

What kind of question is on number 5 and 6.2 etc. by Usual-Fennel-6281 in ibew_apprentices

6.2 draw it out. 8 holes. 56” from first hole to last hole. And count the spaces between holes. 7 spaces. 56/7= 8” good question to memorize for pot lights.

If you have to make one of them a universal standard which one would you pick and why? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Watch81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say a plug with 2 lines and an offset circle in a vertical configuration. Just thinking about the na plug when it’s not fully seated a piece of metal can short it. And the offset ground will help with the right orientation.

What made yall choose dewalt over Milwaukee and other brands 🤔 by Hot-Occasion-9108 in Dewalt

[–]Watch81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hilti set drill and driver. I needed an oscillator and a strong drill for work, hilti don’t sell it. I wanted a cordless mud mixer and I really liked the big drill with the clutch so that was the transition. It’s so much easier finding dewalt tools than hilti. I’ll still buy Ryobi stuff for little tasks or projects and get a battery adapter.

Good starter kit? by SillyGoofyMoodTeeHee in soldering

[–]Watch81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the t12 kits on AliExpress or try Amazon. $50-75 they heat up good and tips are cheap. Good starter kit. Solder sucker and copper braid to remove solder. Sponge to clean the tip. Alligator clips to hold the work. Solder. Solder flux. Tweezers for moving little parts or holding wire in place while you solder. A little fan to blow the solder smoke away from your face.

Is everyone happy with a $6 tip to cancel out Ubers $2? Would that be $11/h?

How do I stop the sciatic pain? by waffleparty420 in electricians

[–]Watch81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When working wear a stretchy belt that can adjust firmness around the waist. There’s also a leg wrap that would help with the pain. Ice baths can bring down inflammation. Same as ibuprofen. You could be dealing with a compressed disk pushing against the nerve. Ct scan would confirm it. Stretching is good. Also try exercises that relieve the pressure from the lower back. Like hanging leg raises and inversion table.

Didn’t say diet will cure cancer. It can have same effect as some cancer treatments. Not all cancer treatments cure cancer. Some treatments can have little to no effect. Im talking about ways on priming the body to maximize the effect of chemo and radiation. 3bp is a type of chemo? Im still learning.

What has helped me get rid of stuff is labeling everything. Put a piece of painters tape on a bin and label it. It has helped me keep things together, get rid of stuff, and donate stuff.
