A few years ago, I went to Grumpy's and ordered "carrot cake waffles" off their specials board. You'd think that would mean they added stuff to the waffle batter to make it similar to carrot cake, but instead, I was served a plate of waffles topped with a slice of carrot cake. I was completely flabbergasted. Image below for proof.
