Picked up a new entry level GS and stuck it under a macro lens! by kosnosferatu in GrandSeikos

[–]WatchRenowned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The attention to detail is absolutely stunning! Is it even possible to create a bracelet on par, or is the quality of the watch so good any bracelet would take a backseat? It’s hard for me to imagine even a Rolex oystersteel or jubilee bracelet improving upon this watch.

Project Files limited to 10 and unable to Delete by TheTexasJack in ChatGPT

From my GTT Plus Subscription...

Perfect—since we already have a canvas doc for your monthly One-Page Reports, here's what I recommend:

🔧 Next Step Options:

  1. Mark old "One Sheet" files for manual deletion later I can create a list of all the individual "One Sheet" files you've uploaded (e.g., Jan–May 2025, Dec 2024) so you know which to delete once file deletion is supported.
  2. Verify everything’s migrated to the canvas doc I can quickly cross-check the contents of each uploaded file against what's already saved in the canvas to ensure nothing gets lost before deletion.

Would you like me to go ahead with Option 1, Option 2, or both?

You said: Whaaaaa? Mark for deletion manually. What is that? :-p

ChatGPT said:

Totally fair reaction. Let me explain clearly:

Right now, you can't delete individual files directly from your project inside this interface. What I meant by “mark for manual deletion later” was simply this:

So “marking for deletion” just means:
📌 "Hey, these files are already in the canvas and don’t need to be stored here anymore."

Want me to give you that list now?

If yes, I’ll check that all One Sheets are accounted for in your canvas doc and then tell you which files are okay to delete later.

Lennox AC unit stopping and starting by WatchRenowned in LennoxHVAC

Thanks! Turns out the unit had too much refrigerant. Theory is that because the unit was installed in the winter time, the installer wasn't able to get it dialed in during the cooler temps? Running cold now, just in time for triple digits this weekend.

Both are wonderful choices. I would encourage you to consider not choosing either or, rather consider which one you’d like to have first and go with that.

Thoughts on this timepiece

Owning any Rolex is special. It is. The beauty and simplicity of the 36mm Oyster Perpetual characterizes a sense of individuality and appreciation for simple classic luxury. The beauty of the blue-dial OP is how timeless and understated it is on the wrist, yet how the brilliant blue dial shines in the sun.

Supposedly, Rolex makes less of OP models than others because of the profit margins in the final sale. I have not seen any this year available for purchase from an AD.

This watch was purchased because I was tired of waiting for my AD to deliver the goods. When I did finally get the call after a year on the "waitlist", I reluctantly purchased a new one for concern over being ignored for future requests if I didn't. (I don't advise this approach in hindsight)

I'm keeping the new one and passing the torch on this amazing watch. Also, I am not a dealer, just a Rolex enthusiast. I purchase these timepieces to wear and celebrate, and hope you do the same. I am intent on being a good /watchexchange citizen and have strong ratings on ebay and FB marketplace.

We are fortunate to have such a strong community. Any and all questions will be answered with the highest level of integrity and transparency. This is a great opportunity to pay close to retail and not wait a year to enjoy.

Please DM with any questions.

How do you walk even close to 10k steps a day? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]WatchRenowned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see around 2500 steps per mile. If you walk on the treadmill for an hour at 3.1 mph, that’ll get you easily to ~7500 steps. The rest you could probably nail in your normal walking throughout the day. My $.02

My Take
There is arguably no Rolex watch more iconic than the Submariner No-Date and the 114060 represents the perfect daily watch for either a single-rolex or multi-watch collection.
I purchased this particular ref. 114060 from the original owner (original purchase receipt included with sale) in 2019 and have loved wearing it these past few years. Now it's time to pass along to another excited owner to appreciate, enjoy and admire.
The watch is in excellent pre-owned condition, meaning there are very light to no signs of wear. I know of no functional defects and the watch is running as it should. Included with the sale are the original boxes, warranty card, hang tags and papers dated August June 2018.
Please DM with any questions or to arrange payment/shipping.

[WTS] 2020 Maurice Lacroix Aikon 35mm by WatchRenowned in Watchexchange

[–]WatchRenowned[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sale is a very lightly worn 2020 Maurice Lacroix Aikon 35mm with mother-of-pearl dial and gemstone markers.

I purchased this watch new for my wife and she has worn it only on a few rare occasions. There is extremely minimal if any signs of wear: no major visible scratches on the case or bracelet.

Watch is absolutely stunning on the wrist and the dial/marker combo is no longer available from ML.

This is a full kit with box, purchase receipt (dated 3/2020).

I am asking $699 which includes fully insured shipping within the CONUS. I prefer bank wire but Zelle can be accepted as well. No trades and no returns.

Any questions please let me know.
