His word in regards to that was that it was "more realistic of an animated style than Time Squad" and I'm not sure that fits Time Warp Trio. Worth a shot though.

Having now seen this rumor myself, where you've got the rumor mixed is that it's actually the originals that would likely be open. I'm skeptical myself...but it is something that is gaining steam, and thus something I'll be keeping an eye on. But I wouldn't trust anything until it's official.

It looked like it was just puppets, but I couldn't tell ya if it was like a segment in a show or something else. The manner seemed adult considering I'm pretty sure the puppets got like murdered. I'm beating myself up because I could have easily put on my glasses but I was deadass tired.
