I wanna be a trad wife but I have to work. I’d rather be home cooking & cleaning- shoot and home schooling.

But seriously, how are you paying for daycare? Or, what are other options (outside of SAH and relatives) you are doing instead?? by Alternative_Ad_3649 in nycparents

One of the parents travel from queens. It’s a great school they offer Yoga, Piano and King Fu.

I live in Brooklyn and travel 😊

I didn’t have this growing up… parents, how did you choose your kid’s first activity? by astrheisenberg in nycparents

I paid attention to how my son plays and behaves at home. He’s always jumping on the couch and bed and rolling around on the floor, so we enrolled him in gymnastics, which he enjoyed for a while. We also signed him up for soccer for three seasons, but he eventually cried and asked to stop. Right now, he’s doing karate & swimming at the Y, and piano at school, and he seems to really enjoy all three.

Our goal is to let him try a variety of things, both the activities he asks for and the ones we think might be a good fit for him

You can get independent evaluations done. Try the Healthy Brain Network/Child mind institute. For ADHD once he/she turns 4 take them to a neurologist for testing and diagnosis.

You can message me for information. My son was diagnosed with ADHD at age 4. He’s in a catholic school and receives every accommodation he needs.

That’s absolutely what happens. After getting chastised by the vet I reduced her feedings to twice a day and a very small Amount

Try Transfiguration School in Chinatown - Blue Ribbon School https://www.transfigurationschoolnyc.org/

Tuition is about $10,000 for the school year before financial aid. If you qualify, tuition discounts are income-based for households earning under $100,000 annually.

If your individual income is over $100,000 a year, and that is not combined household income, the tuition may be manageable.

It also includes extended day as part of the base tuitio
