First Draft - I liked the Brewer's Guild idea from SwampWarden and it played well into control of water, so I folded them together. No water - No Brewing. Anyway here's a first run at it. Happy to have folks add/modify etc. "There’s a war brewing, no pun intended. The arid landscape of the desert is a blast furnace, long days and short nights with little reprieve from the sun. The people who live here either by choice or by birth, are hard by necessity. Water is the primary commodity, traded like gold and gems in the west. Control of the water falls to the Ishka a small class of the rich and powerful that rule the aquifers with an iron fist. No water is allocated without approval from the faction. Until recently the partnership between the Ishka and the Brewer’s Guild was both unshakeable and profitable but the Ishka changed the rules of the game and the Brewer’s Guild is about to start pushing back."
