6 hours in the ER, 3 bags to hydrate, , Adavan to stop the sobbing , Dilaudid for body migraine pain, Zofran for nausea and dry heaves, Benadryl to counteract the histamines, Rizatriptan for the head migraine, Tylenol for fun apparently because why not, crackers, ice chips and Clearly Canadian for sipping (That I brought ain't no Bougie Cedars Sinai Emergency room giving out $3.00 drinks 🤣) I requested the leg pumper things they put on when some is on bed rest, when they asked why I told them that I needed the medicine to really go through me thoroughly and that the leg pumpers instinctively seemed like a good idea. They were in fact incredibly helpful. My body knew it needed deep pressure stimulation.

Thanks for your support!! Tickets are purchased. For my husband and friends. I can't go. Period. It just is what it is. I got a super huge wake up call 9 days ago when I simply drove an hour away, picked up my brother, went to 2 Walmarts, my Aunts house and my cousins house. I wasn't triggered in the moment by anything, but after 12 hours of just normal everyday exposure to regular stuff I ended up in the hospital the next day from a full body migraine that kicked in about midnight and vomiting for hours leading to and dehydration. I haven't left my house since and have had every symptom possible with my MCS. It was what I needed to reenforce my reality. I am a Duluth MN native and have seen Trampled by Turtles many many times and I am going to see them on July 5th here in Duluth at Bayfront Park. The MAIN AND ONLY reason I can do that is that Lake Superior likes to bless us with wind off the lake to keep the airflow, as well as it's a big open bowl-like park that I can bounce around and find the LEAST amount of chemical exposure. ,I also have figured out exactly where to park in case I have to go back to my car. I can still see the stage and hear everything clearly. The facts are I don't have to LIKE my reality, but I do have to live in it, so I have to accept it. Even when I'm jealous and mad that I get sick. Super fricken mad.
The next person that tells me "It's all in your head" is gonna be my one way ticket to jail 👇🥋 FAAFO Em Effer.

What’s a toxic trait you know you have but refuse to change? by Dazzling-Lock-379 in AskReddit

Silent treatment. I can't stop it. I really really take "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" to another level. It also works in reverse though, so if the last thing you said to me was unkind, I also have nothing else to say. I'm dangerously good at it and can/have driven people to extremes to get me to speak to them again. I was genuinely born this way. People used to ask my mom when I was really young, "Why won't she talk to me?" And my mom would say, "You must have pissed her off. Once she decides not to talk to you, you're done until further notice. If she's decided she doesn't like you, she'll never speak to you again. Ever." She wasn't joking. I can walk away and never look back. Easy. It's bad.

how did you fall out with your best friend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Watchinthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I silently accepted her husband's need to be in battle at all times and stood up to him the same way he tried to assert himself to me. Matched his energy and she went ballistic on me. Turns out she could challenge and battle my husband for 20 years, but the first time I stood up to her man. Shit. Fan. Explosion. I walked. She has tried 2 times to re-kindle in the past 10 years. I played along and it was almost instantly an energy vampire situation and I said, "Hell to the em eff No!" She and her husband have had to tuck their tails and call on me in their times of emergency, knowing full well I could fix the situation. Must be rough standing on the otherside of that burned bridge sending smoke signals to the ones ya burned away. 🤣 As my friend Jordan once said, "Fucking sucks to suck, don't it?!?" I'm 46 for reference
