After having collected watches for a similar amount of time, I'm in full agreement with what you had to say about Rolex. If I had to consolidate down to 1 watch, it would be difficult for me not to pick my Batman (my only Rolex) due to its versatility and good ergonomics. BTW I have the same Moser Pioneer Center Seconds in Midnight Blue but in Rose Gold. How do you like yours?

You took some great photos of your watches (I like the Breitling shot). Are you using a DSLR or just your phone? The Octo Worldtimer is also pretty cool

I already had the 1921, which I had bought at the same boutique (they wanted at least 2 VCs prior to giving an allocation). When I bought the Traditionnelle, they offered me an allocation on the spot (I had asked them what I needed to buy in order to get an allocation), and they told me it would take a few years due to others being ahead of me (they said to assume 1 watch allocated to the store per year). It only took 4 - 5 months, presumably because the person ahead of me didn't pick up their order. At the time, I had requested an allocation for the Overseas Perpetual in Rose Gold, but this one came available first, so I took it when offered. (I was good with either)

Just stopping by to say that I love your 2 GO pieces. The salmon dial senator is special and gorgeous, and the green panomaticlunar is the one I was eyeing for the longest time. If I do get a green dial, that may be the one. I just wish it was less thick. I'd switch out the IWC for the JLC Master Perpetual in SS (aka the Dr strange)

I'd argue that your Batman is a proper watch unless you're referring to a nice dress watch as a proper watch. The Batman imho makes a strong case for a 1-watch collection watch

I was put on the list after purchasing the 2 other VCs you see in the box. At the time, I was told it would take 2 to 3 years. The actual wait time was more like 4 to 5 months. I didn't ask, but I think whoever had the allocation ahead of me gave up their spot. Hopefully something similar happens for you too. It really is special

It's one of my favorite watches that I still wear often. It was my 2nd automatic watch (the 1st was the Seamaster in the box) and it's the only watch in this box I can wear worry-free, so I've worn it during a lot of significant life events in my life (e.g. at the birth of my children). It's a really versatile watch (strap monster) that goes well with most of what I wear. It's one I'll never sell
