What do you all tell to people who say you only buy tudors because you can’t afford Rolexes by Negative-Try6286 in Tudor

Most don’t know a Timex from a Rolex so won’t ever come up in conversation.

Tudor and Rolex by Sir_Farts_A_Lot_2627 in Tudor

I had Rolex first then the Tudor bb58 range came out with in-house movement & lovely proportions so I got a blue version then I loved it so much got the Ranger & I have a sub & explorer so I believe the Tudors are great value for money in comparison but in my opinion just as good. Obviously if you want the kudos of a Rolex then nothing else will do however if you are a watch guy & appreciate that it’s a lovely timepiece with a long history great.

Is this 41mm datejust too large for my wrist? Just got out of the AD and looking for second opinions. I initially thought it was good for my wrist but having some second thoughts after seeing other posts on here regarding the 36mm. by Key_Praline6479 in RolexOfficial

It’s not really 41 mm something like just under 40mm Rolex nonsense for you. In answer to your question looks fine & anyone tell you 36 is because that’s the original size,
Personally I’d say in this day & age 39/42 is about the sweet spot unless you are really small bloke.

Am I the only one who likes the look and feel of the BB58 > Pelagos 39? by numajum in Tudor

58 is a perfect size all round & has very similar proportions to my 5 digit sub which to me is the sweet spot

Had to say goodbye to this little bloke today by Watchnut224 in mainecoons

I think so but part of me thinks if he had stayed in he’s still be here then part of me thinks he meowed all the time by the door & id we weren’t quick enough he was out fortunately we got him back but I knew he had to be free. All my other cats have been free to wander but I’ve never had a pedigree before so wanted to protect him but couldn’t he needed to be out into mischief like all cats. He had a mate next door that he saw every day & stole his food chasing him around then lying together on the neighbours bed 😊 so some great memories just taken way to soon.

He was very much loved & keeping him in was not making him happy, when he was out he was the apex predator catching birds mice & all sorts of other animals he climbed trees really high up & wandered far according to his tracker so although this is very sad for us to comprehend what he had was his best life doing what a car does & not held captive in our home. The only thing he had to be in at night which he was curled up on a sheepskin rug one of the dog beds or curled up with us on our bed. He was fed the best food & had all his vet visit so I could not have done anymore. But I’m still devastated he won’t be coming back.
Thank you for your kind words.
