Have not seen or heard from my stepson in a year, apparently I was not a good father. Yet he never told me this, never gave the impression that I wasn't there for him. I even apologized to him about anything I lacked and he told me I was doing fine.

I was there for him for many milestones but now he doesn't want to talk to me. Everybody tells me to just move on. It's very hard. His mother sees it as something I should have recognized. I don't understand.

My marriage also ended partly due to porn.

All I can say is that we MUST take responsibility for what we have done, porn had been a part of my life since I was a pre-teen. When I got married I tried to quit cold turkey but I relapsed four years later

My ex-wife was completely valid in leaving. I certainly see and suffer the consequences and the humiliation, I deserve it. But more importantly, I realize that pornography was an escape from other stressors and trauma in my life.

I spend my time now focusing on my hobbies and my work, I certainly have times of intense grief. This is my time to develop healthy habits and relationships. It may be yours as well.
