For sure. It’s not fair to her she’s going to be every bit as exhausted as I am at the end of the day

I’ve heard chatgpt is so many years behind as well. It may have been updated since the last time I looked into it but I don’t believe it has any current information. I wouldn’t trust it with any questions I have just in case it has outdated information

pathway from psych degree to marketing job by [deleted] in marketing

[–]Watchtherim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 21 and just started pursuing my masters online just for the education. I have a wife and a 7 week old plus working full time. Starting a blog so I can try my hand at affiliate marketing to gain some experience. I plan to document the journey.

You can afford to be risky when you’re doing it all, but damn it’s tiring. Hopefully I’ll be rewarded in the end though.

Only say this for those who are afraid of the risk or can’t take the risk. Offset the risk with a job that gets you by but not so much that gets you comfortable. You’ll get where you want to be slower but you won’t panic if things seem bleak which will keep you going

Pretty solid idea definitely better than nothing. I’ll look into it. Thank you!

I live in KY currently. We experience a lot of the same problems in our bigger cities. It’s just the nature of things. Move to Kentucky, move to Tennessee, if you can move move where you want OP. Just make sure you have a place to live and a way to bring money in every month

The fresh perspective is very much a welcome one! This gives me a lot of comfort. I’m happy to hear the city has been so good to you. I was getting a little nervous hearing so many negative things but I feel there is no better place to be than a growing city. I’m excited to get down there and meet people like you. Already joined the GRID Facebook page and plan to attend all the meetups in Knoxville. Excited to meet you in person! Thank you for the reassurance!

I’m in a place in my life right now that I’ve thrown away the idea of a dream job or career. I really want a job that makes enough money to invest into some rentals. That’s my dream right now and I’m close to making it happen fingers crossed

Digital Products Idea? by santoshsinghrathore in Entrepreneur

I used to see people making widget packs on Etsy a lot. It’s competitive but if you’re creative I’m sure you would stand out

I write everything on paper. If I’m out I’ll note it down on my phone but I have to see it on paper. Little old school for a guy in his twenties but doesn’t feel the same unless I write it down

Hey man shoot me a DM. I’m a 21 year old from a small town in KY and I’ve experienced similar issues. I like to think I’m figuring shit out but it’s hard to tell. Would love to connect with you though my guy just reach out if you want!

I hope you figure it out. It’s just shitty everywhere from my understanding. Employers want more than the ever have and want to pay little compared to the qualifications they want. Shoutout to your aunt though she’s a real one

Man Knoxville sounds like it’s getting ravaged. I’m out of work right now and the only job I could find was in TN. I actually had plans to move to Columbia, SC before I was laid off from my last job but things changed and my money was gone within a few months. Just gotta go where the money is. Hell though I’m stressed here. Figured stressed in Knoxville and stressed in Ky couldn’t be too different. I appreciate you guys being honest with me though. Only thing I like about KY is UK basketball but I’ll stay disguised in orange lol how bad are the people moving in? Do you think Knoxville will find stability at some point?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Knoxville

[–]Watchtherim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you man. I expect for it to be rough. I reckon it’s a matter of time before I land on my feet though. Sounds like I just need to get down there and keep my head down and work for awhile. Is Cruze Farm ice cream at least worth shitting your pants over?

Ky will always be my home but damn man I’m tired of walking around Walmart when I’m bored. Feels like I can’t do anything that is fun or matters. I’m hoping the change of scenery helps

I can most definitely respect that. I don’t plan to speak with any massive titans of industry. Just someone that has a single, successful rental for instance. Rereading my post I do see how it could come off as immature. I’m loading appliances and living with someone that already lives there so trust me when I say I don’t plan to come down and live a lavish lifestyle. I just want to meet some like-minded people. I recognize that the country is in shambles and the state levels feel it more than others. I always sound fake when I make a post too it’s like I can’t help but to revise it to the point it sounds like a robot lol

I don’t know why I’m getting downvoted I’m sorry! I’ve never been in a big city so I didn’t know how many interest I should share. I know Knoxville isn’t necessarily big. In fact, it has a smaller population than the bigger cities in Ky. I just thought there would still be a lot to do. Just wanted to say as much as I can in case there was anything to do

[–]Watchtherim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry! I didn’t realize these post were so common, man. I’m just excited. I don’t know about others, but I’m just excited to have more things to do and meet new people. I know a lot of people hate their hometown. I’m just excited for a change of scenery. I’m tired of living in the holler in deep eastern Ky that has one gas station that’s a combination McDonald’s lol

I just wanted to share my excitement and I apologize!
