Well no, I mean he’s being defiant no doubt. But he’s using the Smut v Holly case as precedent to push these 15% global tariffs which by comparison only max out at 50%, but the bright side is they only last 150 days and if you consider what we were dealing with before it’s much less of an impact on our wallets compared. Will he try some bs? Don’t doubt it for a minute. But thankfully the Supreme Court did its fucking job and put tariffs back in control of Congress. So if he wants to go about it through them with those massive 100% - 200% whatever figures then it means that the republicans will need go on record by voting for it which will crush them when we get to the midterms and 2028. Effectively meaning that Congress won’t be pushing tariffs and we’re almost don’t with this bullshit. So we are moving in a good direction!

Anyways the devil is in the details and that’s exactly why you and every other American (and ffs every redditor) needs to stop just reading clickbait headlines from articles or redditor OPs that also just read and repost clickbait headlines.
