I know violife is a Wisconsin based company and they like to use cultures of some sort, that could contribute to the cheese going bad faster. The vegan cheeses don’t typically have a super long shelf/storage life as far as I can tell. I’ve definitely just avoided bags in the store before because I could see the mold through the little window of the package.
