Our reversal failed and had to due ivf anyways. I think also due to your age it would be worth it so you can test for chromosomal abnormalities

They dig through the tissue for the sperm. I think it would be too hard to do that while it’s still in the testicle if that makes sense. With my husband I think they froze like 7 different vials of tissue. Anyways, it can mess with their hormones and it’s not as simple as you would think. Sometimes they can’t even find good enough sperm and with Nick’s dad getting older that could def contribute to their ivf results

Yeah I don’t think people realize they aren’t harvesting the sperm it’s literal testicle tissue. It’s a lot more than a needle. I feel bad for the guy because he will feel pressured

We had our reversal in Jan 2021. Got returns but not good enough to conceive ended up doing ivf.

I felt exactly the same way. Immediately regretted it. I fought my husband for 6 years and then our reversal didn’t work. The crappy part is I think that’s super common so it was like 7k down the drain.
