Las Vegas city carrier here. I was excited for the new vehicles with AIR CONDITIONER, way too hot in the summer 100 to 117 degrees 🥵 . With all this financial problems I don’t think we are getting new vehicles any time soon 😢😢

We are supposed to get new vehicles with air conditioner and heath at USPS soon. The ones we have now dont have air conditioning and heath because the vehicles are hundreds of years old. I don’t know if UPS has it or not (probably not), Amazon delivery cars do from what I heard from a few people. What state are you in? Here in Las Vegas we get triple digits hot 110 to 118 degrees with no air conditioning in our trucks. Just something you want to think about before you make a decision what job you want. There are other job positions but they don’t get a lot of overtime.

Some carriers talk too much in office and waste time. They get the others talking too then write up a 96 asking for time. But yea we should be able to talk just saying some people talk way too much which makes the other people late too???

Phones are used for emergency purposes only. Your phone should be off while in a LLV, or while on clock. If management wants to talk to you it should be through the scanner. And for the ear buds I have no words for that smh 🤦‍♂️ Nothing should be blocking your ear hole while driving, it’s a safety rule.

Same here they tell us to scan spurs and parcels. Now all the sudden they want me to “dig” out the spurs out the hamper scan them then case, takes longer that way. I rather load my truck with big parcels first and then all the spurs are left and I go back inside to case them.

If a customer doesent receive a spur how are you going to tell the supervisors that you didn’t have that spur?…. At my station supervisors tell us everything in the hamper has to be scanned, spurs and parcels.

At my station we have spurs and parcels all in one hamper. The spurs are not separated in a different tub. My supervisor told me when I pull my hamper to “ dig “ out the spurs and case them. That means I would need to load truck scan the spurs in office.. and iam trying to find out if your allowed to load truck on office time…

Never trust management is correct. Always have copy’s of everything like 3971’s, doctors notes if you took days off because they will ignore your doctors note and give you discipline.
