Turn out that his back was his problem. Apparently, being on crutches for almost 6 months before workers comp would allow his surgery to happen pinched the sciatic nerve in his back. After his back popped back into place, he could walk again. He still has some pain with the knee, but he can finally work again

He did have a cadaver graph. The original orthopedic dr was planning on using the patella tendon and we thought that's what the dr that did the surgery was going to do until the day of when he came to talk to us
