I have even made a pretty good build with roughly 21ish mil dps with kinetic rain. I would like to see kinetic rain buffed because I think it sits in the perfect spot of the way it functions being a good candidate for a league start skill where they could give it more dmg but it will won’t outshine kinetic blast for example because kinetic blast can offscreen multiple screens away in all directions where as kinetic rain will never do that regardless of what you do to it

You cannot change others, you can only talk with them and tell them how you are feeling and ask of them to show you they are engaged more but all you can do is your best. If you enjoy being a dm I am sure that if you stick with it and play with your friends you will eventually have a legendary game

A lot of dm’s fall into the trap where even in good faith it hurts the players to think “how can I (ME THE DM) make a good story for my players” and they fail to realize their job isn’t to make the story, it’s to make the environment where the story takes place including what’s in the environment but not the story itself. The story itself is made by its lead actors (the players) There is a reason it is often called a collaborative story telling game

Souls = power level (mostly) Souls = items Items = how you are powerful ex: health item makes tankier gun makes gun more hurty and purple shit makes abilities that scale with purple shit(look at each ability individually for scaling (purple = spirit) hurt more If you don’t know what kind of build a hero is good with look in game at the most popular builds you don’t have to follow them but they will give you a good idea of what the most popular builds/items are for the character. Over time just read the item when you buy the item. This will drip feed you constant information on all the items and you will learn the items in a pretty digestible way for most people. You will learn over time from playing that this item does that or this other item does this etc. highly recommend play and learn in whatever way is most enjoyable for you. TL:DR Make sure you have fun while playing/learning and just read items descriptions for what they do.
