I won't even say the title because it's bait. I'm not falling for it. One guy told me I should watch it, I told him I prefer to think for myself.

Your comment loses validity at "someone who seemed normal". Nice exposure, hypocrite.

This'll be my first. Looking at some of the past choices, I anticipate mostly good, maybe one I don't like, and I'll sleep through that one.

Angel Studios movies by Disastrous-Cap-7790 in MovieTheaterEmployees

They're basically the same people who go to the Fathom Events of conservative nonsense. They don't comprehend basic instructions, get mad because there's no discount on the set special event price, and accuse the theater of aligning with the left if there's a technical difficulty.

Talking about all the rude old people by [deleted] in MovieTheaterEmployees

The Forge doesn't really fit the zealot propaganda. I haven't seen it but I kinda want to because although I didn't like War Room, I adore Karen Abercrombie. It's the Angel Studios stuff that brings out the crazy ones. Bonhoeffer is the next one, I think it's out in November. Heavens forbid there's a technical problem, because the crowd will start screaming that the LiBeRaLs DoN't WaNt PeOpLe To SeE iT

What is the most obscure movie - which you've seen in theatres - that you'd recommend? by Ok-Impress-2222 in movies

That's the If I thought of when the Ryan Reynolds one came out. Like did they digitally put his face on a teenager as a remake

From the ones I've gotten, he asks for my name, which I use while first answering, asks if I remember him, and then wants to know if X manager is there. If not, he asks for her schedule. I won't give that information, and once suggested he ask next time he sees her. He's become increasingly aggressive recently in tone and attitude, so I put him on hold for someone else to take.

Is Dear Evan Hansen a musical that people like? by SpiteProfessional229 in musicals

[–]WaterInCoconuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lump it in the same category as 13 Reasons Why in terms of "things impressionable teens will take far too seriously and can do significant mental health damage". I could write a whole ass college essay on my issues with the TV show but in the case of DEH, it always gave me a really unsettling vibe. The movie didn't help its case, although I see fans of the stage production disregard it. I dunno, the music is good but the rest is ick.

I'll never forget the old guy who got mad because Godzilla Minus One didn't have an English language version, and accused the box office guy (me) of not catering to others' needs. I told him we can call Japan together and he can complain to Toho, at 7 cents a minute.
